Wellington Synchro Athletes competing overseas in 2024

Three of our senior athletes competed in a variety of events overseas in 2024.

The 2024 Hancock Prospecting Australian Artistic Swimming Championships - Brisbane 4-5 April 2024.  Twenty-one clubs from Five countries participated in a fantastic event, that was even The Australian Open: Sascha Fox and Scarlett Hardy, representing Wellington Synchro in Junior Free Duet and Junior Technical Duet.  

Junior Women’s Technical Duet: 5th with a sore of 118.3767

Junior Women’s Free Duet 3rd overall with a score of 94.8792

Sascha Fox and Scarlett Hardy joined the New Zealand Junior Worlds team to represent New Zealand in the World Aquatics Artistic Swimming Junior World Championships 28 August - 1 September 2024.  This was the first time that New Zealand has sent a team to the Junior World Championships

Billie Leslie-Bird is a strong member of the New Zealand Junior Squad competing in Dubai in November 2024 (results to follow)
